Splitterschutz Fliegerhorst Venlo

Close to Tor 9 (gate 9) there is small structure,
The size is about 1,5 meter wide, 1,5 meter deep.
The height is about 1,5 meter above ground level. In the roof there is a round hole for a stove pipe.
It being so low makes it a remarkable structure. It is below ground level and the floor is missing. The entrance is oriented to the west.
The purpose of this structure is unknown but is is thought to have been a Spitterschutz, a hiding for guards.
