Tjipinang Prison

Between 1944-1945, during the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies, this prison was an internment camp for Dutch people, including political prisoners and children. After the war, Tjipinang was used as a prisoner of war camp for Japanese POWs and Indonesian insurgents.
