German Bunker Mock Airfield Oostelbeers

This bunker is part of the German dummy airfield Oostelbeers.
The bunker is on private land and can only be viewed on special occasions.

The inside still has the original stucco and paint, but everything else has been removed. The latter was done quite soon after the war.
The owner has never indicated or used another destination, and it has also remained free of graffiti.
The bunker has therefore remained unchanged since the early 1970s.

Artillery was still placed here during the war. The maps mark another air raid shelter next to it, but excavation never yielded anything.
The tree that grows right in front of the observation hatch was planted just after the war and has already grown to a considerable size.
