Crash Site Lancaster MK III PB255 Oostelbeers

Crash site of the Lancaster MK III of the 460 RAAF Squadron. This bomber was shot on December 24, 1944 on its way to Germany by a German night fighter. The crew decided to return to England because of damage, but the plane exploded above Oostelbeers. All 7 crew members were killed.
