Bunker Mi 2 Micheroux

Bunker Mi 2 is the second of 3 bunkers of sector Micheroux (Mi). Sector Mi is part of de 2nd line of defense for the city of Liège (PFL 2, la Position Fortifiée de Liège).

These 3 bunkers hold an advanced position in the line in between the nearby fort of Evegnée and fort Fléron

Bunker Mi 2 is located at alongside the road in a forest. Although the bunker is only a few meters from the road, it is complete invisible due to overgrowth. It is one of the larger type of bunkers. and was equipped with a 47 mm canon en a machine gun.
