Belgian War Graves Ruette

The cemetery in Ruette contains the graves of military and civilian victims of the First and the Second World War.

First World War

Narcisse ARQUIN, François CARPENTIER, Lucien LECOCQ, Virgil MANGIN.
These are the graves of civilians who were victims of the German atrocities committed in August 1914.

Second World War
Henri GOFFINET, resistance fighter, executed in Schaarbeek on 27 August 1943
Félix JEANJEAN resistance fighter, died in the Sonnenberg concentration camp (G) on 8 May 1944
Jean-Baptiste GODARD, civilian victim died in Vierzon (F) during the evacuation of May 1940
