Stumbling Stones Roerstraat 31

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN THE NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam two Stumbling Stones were laid for:

JACOB BENAVENTE, murdered on December 7, 1942 in Auschwitz.

GRIETJE BENAVENTE-DE VRIES, murdered on December 7, 1942 in Auschwitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
