Stumbling Stones Herculesstraat 51

A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN THE NAME IS FORGOTTEN.
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam three Stumbling Stones are laid for:

ESTHER SWART-SNUIJFF, in hiding and survived.
HENDRIKA SWART, murdered on May 21, 1943 in Sobibor.
SIMON ELIAS SWART, murdered on August 31, 1944 in Auschwitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
