This is one of four 75 mm turrets that could defend the fort itself in the event of an attack.
It is the only turret that has survived. All other turrets were sold as scrap after the war. In one case, a replica turret was installed, but it is clearly recognizable.
The notch in the concrete of the bunker gave opportunity to shoot very low in the direction of the fort's tank trench and enclosure on this side.
