The contrescarpe of Fort Barchon is located in the northeast corner of the fort.
From this bunker both tank trenches could be taken under fire if intruders penetrated into the tank trench. On the first floor there were 4 machine guns and two emergency exits. On the second floor there were also four machine guns. There were also two searchlights here to shine through the tank ditch.
Clearly visible is the damage done to this block in May 1940 when the fort was attacked.
