Stelling van Amsterdam - Sectorpark Zaandam, Material Department
Construction of the sector park began in 1900, much to the dismay of the municipality of Zaandam and its residents.
The Sector Park consisted of a conductor's house, a storage shed (demolished), and possibly another building.
During the 1916 flood, ammunition was stored here. Later, the site (without the house) became part of the Hembrug site. The conductor's house can still be visited today.
