Stelling van Amsterdam - Monnickendam Town Hall

The former town hall of Monnickendam was built in 1746 in the Rococo style and served as the town hall since 1814. The commander of the Monnickendam Sector (part of the Edam Group of the Defence Line of Amsterdam) was stationed here. The building has been a national monument since 1967 and can now be visited as the Huis Timmerman Museum.
