Memorial column for Coenraad van Valkenburg
In Westelbeers, near the Maria Chapel, at the intersection of Spreeuwelsedijk, Broekeindsedijk, and Kapeldijk, a replica has been erected of the memorial column that was erected by his men in memory of Colonel Coenraad van Valkenburg, who was killed in action in 1831 during the Ten Days' Campaign. The monument is open to the public and is located on numerous cycling routes.
