Stelling van Amsterdam - Landstormkorps Office

The Defence Line of Amsterdam's volunteer Landstorm Corps was established in 1916. The volunteer Landstorm Corps consisted of volunteers who could be called up during mobilizations to replace losses sustained by the militia and the land defense.

Around 1936, 5,400 members, including 270 officers, were affiliated with the Defence Line of Amsterdam's Landstorm Corps. The Landstorm Corps was disbanded by the German occupying forces in 1940.
