Information Panel Peter Tazelaar and Lykele Faber
On Streek in Sintjohannesga, right next to house number 36, there is an information panel commemorating Peter Tazelaar and Lykele Faber. During World War II, Tazelaar was a spy and a member of the Englandvaarder resistance group, for which he received the Military Order of William. Faber was a soldier and was trained as a radio operator during the war years, receiving several honours.
