Command Post 4 C.P.
In May 1940, the command post for the 4th Pioneer Company was established in the inn "De Roode Leeuw." The 4th CP was commanded by Captain Van Walsem.
On May 12, 1940, the command post for the 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, was also established in the inn "De Roode Leeuw." 2-24 R.I., initially under the command of Captain C. Hess, then came under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Land.
