Memorial IVKO School

This plaque commemorates the shelter given to Jewish children whose parents were waiting in the Hollandsche Schouwburg for transport to concentrationcamp Westerbork. Henriëtte Pimentel, Walter Süskind and Felix Halverstad helped these children from the kindergarten to abscond. Some 600 children were rescued in this way.

The National Holocaust Museum will open in this building in the spring of 2024.
