House of German Art

The House of German Art (Haus der Deutschen Kunst) was constructed from 1933 to 1937. It was designed by architect Paul Ludwig Troost in the neo-classical Third Reich style, the building still serves Munich today as an art museum (Haus der Kunst).

Many of the Third Reich style ornaments are removed after the war, but several remained like hidden swastikas on the ceiling.
