Dutch War Graves Schiedam

Beukenhof General Cemetery contains 30 Dutch war graves from the Second World War. It concerns 10 soldiers, 11 resistance fighters and 9 victims as a result of forced labour.

Theodorus Antonius Joseph Feuth, Marn. 1st class. Killed in action 14-04-1940 in Schiedam.
Gerrit Kiela, corps. 4-4-Dep.Bat. Killed in action 10-05-1940 in Rijswijk (ZH).
Andries Knotter, Marn. 1st class. Killed in action 10-05-1940 in Rotterdam.
Jan Dirk Rijvordt, Marn. 1st class. Killed in action 14-05-1940 in Rotterdam.
Leendert de Ruiter, sold. 2-I-4 R.I. Killed in action 10-05-1940 in Valkenburg (ZH).
Caspert Balters Melgers Slieker, sold. 1 R.V.A. Died 23-07-1940 in The Hague.
Daniel Vreeswijk, sold. 25 Div. Art. Died 18-05-1940 in Schiedam.
Jan Wildeboer, corps. 85 Pel.Lu.Mitr. Died 15-5-1940 in Dordrecht.

Albertus Johannes de Haas, metal founder. Executed on 13-03-1941 on the Waalsdorpervlakte
Barend Gerrit Hazenkamp, typographer. Executed on 29-12-1942 on the Leusderheide.
Jan Jongebreur, dock hand. Died on 27-01-1942 in hotel Oranje.
Johannes Kerkhoff, detective. Deported and died on 26-12-1944 in Neuengamme.
Antoon van der Kleij, metal turner. Executed on 29-12-1942 on the Leusderheide.
Johannes Cornelis van Noortwijk, detective. Deported and died on 17-12-1944 in Neuengamme.
Jan van Pelt, malkrasser. Executed on 29-12-1942 on the Leusderheide.
Josephus Bernardus Radstake, clerk. Executed on 13-12-1944 in Roosendaal.
Charles Carpenter. Died on 01-07-1945 in Schiedam.
Willem Treurniet, miller. Executed on 30-09-1944 in Rotterdam.
Gerard Wilschut, buffet chef. Executed on 29-12-1942 on the Leusderheide.
