War Memorial The Flee

This Memorial recalls the 'Flee of Breda'. On May 12th 1940 the residents of Breda had to flee because Breda threatened to be a battlefield. The fighting between the Germans and the Dutch with the French were at that time around Breda. In the Flee of Breda were 112 deaths.

The Memorial was designed by Hein Koreman and was revealed in 1957.
