John Frost Monument

This monument can be found at te nothern driveway of the John Frost bridge in Arnhem.

Text on the monument:

John Frost Bridge

This is the bridge where JOHN D. FROST was fighting for
at the command of his persistance soldiers
to the march where freedom hesitated lay
a bridge to far it was and no longer could avail
now the bridge carries a name which to its names called

In 2025, the bronze plaque was stolen. There is now temporarily a photo of John Frost made up of small photos of the soldiers from the 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment.
