War Memorial Barneveld

On the cemetery ´de Plantage´ is a memorial to commemorate the killed Canadian Liberators and Resistance people. The text on the memorial is:

IN RESPECTFUL MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF ´THE ROYAL CANADIAN ARMY´ WHO SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES FOR THE LIBERATION OF OUR MUNICIPALITY AND FOR THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY DURING THE FIGHT AGAINST OCCUPATION AND TERROR
