Monument Princess Margriet Canal

The monument emphasizes that our freedom is the highest good.
The boulder is in Frisian the following:

"Frijdom wie de heechste wet"
(Freedom was the supreme law)

On the other boulder hangs a plaque in Frisian the following:

" En twang fan hwa ek, stie it tsjin 14 april 1945 "
(And pressure from anyone, stood against April 14, 1945)
