Fort bij Hoofddorp
The "Fort bij Hoofddorp (Fort at Hoofddorp)", model A, was completed in 1904 as part of the Stelling van Amsterdam (Defence Line of Amsterdam, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The fort was mobilized both in 1914-1918 and in 1940. During World War II, the German Luftwaffe used the fort for their horses and after the war, collaborators were imprisoned here.
