James Tanner Amphitheater

The James Tanner Amphitheater is a historic wooden and stone amphitheater located at Arlington National Cemetery. The amphitheater was built in 1873 and served as a public meeting at the cemetery, also held here Memorial Day.

James R. Tanner Amphitheater was named after James R. Tanner, a disabled Civil War veteran and influential veterans organization leader.
