Fort Siloso

Fort Siloso was one of the coastal fortresses which hed to defend Singapore. It is the only fort restored and nowadays it is a museum.

During the Battle of Singapore, the fort shelled Japanese troops. It also sunk a troop transport vessel. The fort itself was attacked by aircraft and bombers. After the British surrender, the fort became a POW-camp.
