Memorial Captain Manuel Colayco
This plaque commemorates Captain Manuel Colayco, who was mortally wounded here by a grenade thrown by a Japanese sniper on 3 February 1945. Because of his sacrifice and leadership, almost 4000 internees were liberated in the University of Santo Tomas complex.
