Memorial Harald Poelchau

This plaque commemorates Harald Poelchau, who lived here during the Nazi-era. He was priest in the prisons Tegel and Plötzensee. Together with his wife Dorothee, he tried everything to support the persecuted inside and outside prisons as much as possible.

He and Dorothee were awarded by Yad Vashem as Righteous among the Nations.
