Memorial Victim of Gestapo
This monument commemorates Gaspard Francotte, who was killed by the Gestapo at this location on June 30, 1944.
FRANCOTTE Gaspard, age 27 member of the Resistance, sergeant in the Armée de la Libération.
He is burried on the Herstal-Rhees cemetery (photo 4).
