Little Rock National Cemetery

The National Cemeteries in the U.S.A. are used for graves of war dead, graves of U.S. military personnel, veterans and their spouses but not exclusively so. There are also special state veteran cemeteries.

Little Rock National Cemetery was opened in 1884 to inter Union soldiers who died anywhere in Arkansas. There is also a Confederate plot. In 2005, there were in total 25,172 graves on this cemetery.
