Museumship LV116 Chesapeake

The museumship LV116 Chesapeake is part of the Baltimore Maritime Museum "Historic Ships in Baltimore". The museumship are a bit scattered throughout the harbor.

The Lightship LV116 Chesapeake was active from 1930 to 1970. In the Second World War, she was painted battleship gray, armed with two 20mm guns and used as a patrol/inspection vessel near the entrance to the Cape Cod Canal.
