Servicenumber 0438987.
Fletcher Harris enlisted on 16th April 1943 and became Infantry Unit Commander (Company). He left for Europe on 3rd May 1944 and arrived on 16th May. During the fightings for St. Lo on 11th July 1944 he was wounded. On 27th October 1944 he was send back to the United States for Medical reasons. He was honorably discharged from active duty on 30th April 1945 by reason of physical disability from the McCloskey General Hospital, Temple, Texas.
