Biography

Service number 134033, Philippine Infantry.

Uldarico Cabahug was born on 4th July 1924. Before the war, he was a trader. He bought and sold horses. His mother died when he was young and Cabahug lived with his father and the other children.

When the Japanese invaded the Philippines, Uldarico Cabahug fled with his family into the mountains and learned there of a group that was organising a Guerilla. Uldarico volunteered to the Guerillas at the age of only 16 years old. They were active from the area of Northern Cebu. As a battalion unit they were active in fighting the Japanese.
