Ronald Roberts completed 47 operational sorties with both 106 Squadron and 617 Squadron, with eight sorties to Berlin, the Hamburg ‘firestorm’ raid, and the famous 617 ‘Tallboy’ attack on the Samur Railway Tunnel and the E-Boat pens at Le Havre, Boulogne and Brest.
