    "This airman has fown with Fligh Lieutenant Raphael on every patrol as A.I. Operator since May 10th, 1941, this combination have destroyed 2 HE111's and 1 JU88 and probably destroyed another HE111.

    These successes have partly been due to AC. Addison's skilful operating.

    On the night of June 24/25th whilst attacking a JU88, the Havoc in which they were flying was subject to intense and accurate return fire and was hit in many places. One bullet passed through AC. Addison's clothing and scorched his thigh. In spte of this he stuck to his weapon and enabled his pilot (F/Lt Raphael) to deliver two further attacks and destroy the enemy."
