Ramparts of Gorinchem
This was the defense line of the French troops in Gorinchem during the siege by the Allies (Great-Britain, Russia and Prussia), from 18 November 1813 to the surrender of the French forces in Gorinchem on 4 February 1814. From 20 January 1814 on, the city was heavily shelled.
