Hiding Camp Dennenlust
Dennenlust hiding camp in the woods below Moorsel in Lierop (Gemeren Someren) was inhabited from the end of December 1943 until the liberation on 21 September 1944. The boys from the The Hague region, who wanted to escape from "Arbeitseinsatz", were hiding in the forests on Hoogenbergen (Asten municipality). When it was no longer safe there in December, they left.
