Memorial German Line

At the railway crossing of the German Line and the Trentsedijk is this memorial. The text on the memorial is an eye witness account of a lady who lived at the Millsebaan. On 10 May 1940 she saw how a German armoured train used the line to invade the Netherlands. The train got stuck on the Peel-Raam Line of Defence.
