Casemate Museum Kornwerderzand

Located at a beautiful location, on the Afsluitdyke near the impressive locks, lies the Kazemattenmusem Kornwerderzand. On a spot, where in 1940 the Dutch army defended the Afsluitdyke against the German invader, you can see the bunkers which were used to stop the invader.

This museum is made out of 7 bunkers, named kazematten.
There are also 2 guns and a small restaurant where you can watch a film about the history of this strongpoint. Along the route you'll find several kinds of bunkers and you can access one bunker.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
