Memorial Dutch Submarine Service

In the area of the Dutch Navy Base in Den Helder is a memorial to killed and missing Dutch soldiers of the Navy who died during the Second World War.

On the wall hang seven plates with names. For each submarine in which soldiers have been killed or are missing, there is a separate plate on the wall. It shows also where the submarine was sunk and when that happened.

Since this memorial is situated at the site of the Dutch Navy Base, the memorial can not be visited. Only on the Navy Days which each year occur on the site of the Dutch Navy in Den Helder it is possible to acces the site.
