Memorial killed soldiers

In Moerkapelle, municipality of Zuidplas, there is a monument with the names of four soldiers who died in the Dutch East Indies.

The names of the soldiers are:

• D.L. v.d. HOEK, soldier 2-1-4 RI, died on July 6, 1946 in Tjiandjoer.

• A. HOOGRDIJK, soldier 1st class. 3 G.Reg.Grenadiers 1st Brig. 7 DD, killed on January 14, 1949 between Bajal-Tjikotok.

• P.J. ZIJLSTRA, SMI. 5-10 RI, killed in Kabandjahé on February 10, 1949.

• J. CAMMERAAT, Dpl.Sld.401 Inf, killed in Tjimahi on 6 September 1949.
