Belgian Graves Veterans Oud-Turnhout

In the old cemetery at the Sint-Bavokerk is the grave of Jan Luyten veteran of the war of 14-18.
The tombstone is a Heroes' Stone that was originally designed by Joe English for fallen Flemish soldiers. It has the shape of a Celtic cross with the letters AVV-VVK (Alles Voor Vlaanderen - Vlaanderen Voor Kristus) at the top. Below is a Blauwvoet referring to Albrecht Rodenbach.
After the war, there are still veterans who had a hero stone after their death.
