Monument 'The Falling Man'
Bronze sculpture 'The Falling Man' by the Rotterdam sculptor Cor van Kralingen (1908-1977). The memorial commemorates all victims of the Second World War. It stands next to the 13 Dutch war graves on the General Cemetery Duinhof.
The same statue can be found on the military cemetery at Crooswijk cemetery in Rotterdam, on the Dutch war cemeteries in Mill Hill, Oslo, Orry-la-Ville, Salzburg and on the German war cemeteries in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Hanover.
