Memorial Stone Destruction St. Joseph Church Hout-Blerick

On November 20, 1944, the tower of St. Joseph's Church was blown up by the retreating Germans, whereby the church was almost completely destroyed. All illegal radios, the church linen, as well as some valuable items from the inventory, which were hidden in the attic next to the tower, went down along with the church interior.
