Air Raid Shelter at Schuitwater
During the war, the forest area around the Schuitwater offered many hiding places for people in hiding, young men who hid from raids and livestock that they wanted to protect against confiscation. An underground cellar in Het Schuitwater has been restored and an information board next to it tells the story of the cellar. The air-raid shelter can be found when you walk into the forest, about 300 meters from the 'entrance'.
