Stumbling Stones Roerstraat 67

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN HIS NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam two Stumbling Stones were laid on June 28, 2022 for:

PHILIPPUS KLEIN, murdered on February 1, 1944 in Wonowitz.

ESTHER KLEIN-COHEN, fled into death on May 23, 1943 in Amsterdam.

These Stolpersteine are here in front of a Jewish couple, whose husband was deported and murdered in the Second World War. The woman has fled into death.
