Roadblock Chênée

'Le barrage du câble' or in English, the cable barrier.

Between the poles a steel cable could be stretched (see photo 5 as an example) so traffic was not possible. At the time of World War II these were not only cars ore trucks but also horse and carriage.

The posts near bunkers are numbered and coded. In the case of use in urban areas, they were only numbered. These have number 12. The two posts across the road no longer exist.

Where they were near main roads with bunkers, they were 25 meters and 100 meters away from this bunker. The posts that were near a bunker were coded. See for example the posts near bunker Ag 1 (Argenteau 1) of the sector Argenteau belonging to the 3rd defense line of the city of Liège 'le Position Fortifiée de Liège' PFL 3.
