Stumbling stone for resistance fighter Leopold Bax

This small brass plaque (Stolpersteine or trip stones), laid here on 12-5-2024 commemorates: Leopold Bax.

In late August 1942, Omer Bobon and Leopold Bax founded the resistance movement the Kempen Legion. He was arrested on March 1, 1944, and was murdered in the Gross-Rosen concentration camp in February 1945.
