This monument on the Glaspark commemorates the members of Football Club LSV, now LRC Leerdam, who died during the Second World War.
N. v.d. Laar (killed in 1943 in Berlin during labour deployment)
H. Bauer (lived in Leerdam well before the war but was still a German citizen. Therefore called up for military service and killed in August 1944 in Lithuania)
B. Kool (killed in 1943 in Klafeld during labour deployment)
J. d. Ouden J. d. Ouden (police officer in The Hague, arrested on 16 September 1944 together with 16 other officers for aiding the resistance. Deported from Camp Amersfoort to Neuengamme and later to Bergen-Belsen where he died of exhaustion)
