Internment Camp "West"
Camp West was an internment camp from 1945 to February 1947. The camp was located in the school building of the Vocational School for Women's and Girls' Clothing. Camp West was divided into a men's section (Da Costastraat 64) and a women's section (Da Costastraat 60-62). Dutch people suspected of collaboration with the German occupiers were interned in the camp.
